Spire!
Team Set Up
2 Mages, 1 Knight 1 Other
Stage 1
Nothing special here, almost anyone should be able to kill this.
Stage 2
Nothing special, will summon mobs that aren't an issue. Kill them and move on
Stage 3
Fun begins now. All will attack front row first, for a pretty good amount too.
If your party can deal enough damage to kill the mobs after 1 round, should be fine to survive
If not, you may need 1 or both Mages to use Vulcan Wrath Rune before end of Stage 2 and start Stage 3 with Rain of Fire
When boss is in his last bar of health and gets to attack anyone in your party, you will take an additional 40% Damage for the remainder of your Spire run
So below are the instructions to avoiding this and getting further in spire
- 1. Do not allow Stage 3 boss to fall below 10-20% HP on 2x Bar.
- 2. When boss is at 10-20% remaining of x2 Bar, use Vulcan Wrath rune (+200% Damage) and proceed with your strongest skill to attack boss.
- 3. If all goes well, boss should go from 2x Bar to Dead, without being able to attack the party at all
- 4. Use regular runes (Guardian, Brutality etc) to REMOVE your Vulcan Wrath buff; VERY IMPORTANT or use attacks that do NO DAMAGE
- 5. Drag out the next boss slower, allow everyones Vulcan Wrath buff to cool down and be ready for use again.
Stage 4
Same process as Stage 3. Do not allow boss to attack you in his last bar.
Stage 5
Same process as Stage 3 and 4
Stage 6
Try and always maintain high HP for the Knight tanking, this stage boss can hit 10x the amount of a regular attack to front row.
Stage 7
When this stage boss is in his last bar of health, he will debuff the party with 25% reduced casting time. Take it, it will serve useful later.
Stage 8
This boss will do aoe attacks that can actually hurt, so try to maintain above 50% health. Alternate Blessed Light with the other mage.
Stage 9
It uses a reflect buff to return 50% of the damage to the attacker.
Archers can use scatter shot, but the stage boss will cast it again next turn. So the best you can do is maintain health for the party and avoid using attacking skills as much as possible
Stage 10
r.
Only been to this stage once at the moment, from my fight, the 2 mobs in front die pretty fast and shouldn't be an issue.
The boss however is another matter. He uses an attack which adds a bleed effect of 10k HP per turn, for 2 turns on a random party member.
Apart from that the only real problem is surviving his damage and dealing enough to kill him.
