Mages - Easy kills
This is just a quick guide into gaining more kills as a Mage. Playing as a mage can be fairly easy, all you have to do is use rain of fire, meteor destroyer and everything is almost dead. That's one way to go, but it can only do so much when you fight stronger opponents.
What I've found, is your troops are your BEST defense. You'll find most knights and archers can barely hurt you if they can't kill your troops. So let's start with my version of how you should be destroying those other players. You'll find majority of Archers or Knights start off with their AoE attack, this is what you want them to do as a mage. Your first turn will of course be Rain of Fire, and if they do use an AoE attack, your next turn is either Holy Seal if you know you can stun them, if you're unsure, use Blessed Light.
If it's not already obvious, it's because the longer your troops are alive, the more damage they take on your behalf. So try and get your troop count up, the more HP they have, the longer they survive.
If you have a considerable troop count, and your troops are high level, you may want to even consider using Suntoria next, especially if you managed to stun your opponent. Then finish off their troops with another Rain of Fire, and then it's just a matter of using Lightning Bolt and Rain of Fire until you win. Different story if you're fighting another Mage, these are the worst fights so I suggest avoiding them unless it's an easy kill. (Really weak opponent) You're gonna start off the same, Rain of Fire then Holy Seal/Blessed Light. and now you're DEFINITELY going to use Suntoria, more often than not you can heal more than the other mage can deal to you. Once you can no longer keep your troops alive, it's more than likely going to be a stand off. You'll find the other mage is using Restoration over and over. Delaying the match. If this happens, you're going to do the same, except you're going to try keep on the offensive as much as possible.
Generally at the 50%extra damage mark (60+seconds), damage is really starting to hurt. So here's a neat trick to help finish them quicker... Try and draw out that much until around 110-115 seconds of the fight (10 seconds left of 50% damage, and moving up to 100% extra damage) and then use Holy Seal if you are able to stun them. If you can get 2-3 rounds of stun on them, this is AWESOME, because now all your attacks deal 100% damage and they can't heal due to stun. Sadly if you are unable to stun them, I suggest before it hits this time frame, heal up so if they stun you, you can survive.
